Born in Spain and currently based in Riyadh since August 2025, Blanca Casanova creates art that mirrors the evolving chapters of her life. Growing up in the studio of her father, sculptor José María Casanova, she developed an early instinct for artistic expression.
Throughout her journey—from Spain to the Netherlands and now to Saudi Arabia—Blanca has maintained a dedicated, self-taught practice. What began as a way to navigate major life milestones has transformed into a consistent habit of exploration. She finds beauty in the process itself, creating works that resonate with authenticity and movement.
With a career spanning nearly two decades, she has exhibited in Madrid, Eindhoven, and most recently at the Weeffabriek in Geldrop (2024). Continuing to connect with international audiences from her new home in Riyad, her artwork is featured in private collections worldwide: Spain, United Kingdom, France, The Netherlands, and Mexico.
