In Part of a Whole, multiple international artists joined forces to show the world that there are no limits to expression. Each of them, with different backgrounds, share the same need [feeling part of something bigger] and the same passion [creation].
Their conceptions, all together, are just part of a whole. They, themselves, are now part of this whole, of our present, our lives. These citizens of the world have built strong bonds to Eindhoven and firm ties of friendship and cooperation via their creativity.
These works were exhibited in Albert van Abbehuis, in Eindhoven, in November 2022. Blanca accompanies her works with some reflections and poetry.
IN THE CITY

Skyline. Solitary nights surrounded by buildings. Textures. Passion that was, passion that is being somewhere in those buildings, passion that will be. Anonymity among the crowds that are there but cannot be seen. Chosen freedom felt as loneliness. Late night reflections.
AND HERE I AM

Pride of survival. Different experiences and contexts transform physically and mentally a person into a unique someone. A process of hope, courage, and honesty. Damage converted into kindness and strength to embrace the present and the future. Damage converted into beauty. The beauty of the present.
ANNE PHOENIX

This is a story, a story of love in different shapes. It starts by the love existing between mother and daughter having fun and joy together with acrylics and one canvas. It is followed by self-love, with the lonely exploration of colors, textures, and dynamics to express something that cannot be said in words. It is named after the complicity between two friends: the storyteller and the poet. More love stories from different observers will be creating the identity of this painting.
